Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. Her most well-known role is anchor of the CNN morning show At This Hour. Earlier she co-anchored the CNN weekday morning program New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member the award-winning CNN coverage of the 2012 presidential election and 2016. Bolduan also worked as a congressional correspondent based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on legislative cycles and congress activities, including talks to increase the limit on federal loans and the Super Committee deliberations. In addition, Bolduan worked as a general-assignment correspondent and reported on topics such as the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme court's decision on Obamacare as well as the 2009 implementation of the stimulus program. She became an CNN Newsource national reporter in 2007. As an CNN Newsource correspondent, she reported on breaking news and produced feature reports to over 800 CNN Newsource members.
